just_breatheBreathing is an automatic process of moving air in and out of our lungs. However, sometimes we forget to breathe in a way that does not fully support our body and our mind. We have a tendency to breathe too shallow and not deeply from our diaphragm. This deprives the body and brain of much-needed oxygen.

Practicing mindful breathing or deep breathing techniques can address a variety of issues such as reducing stress, panic attacks, anxiety, and even heartburn.

Deep breathing, aka breath work, is a form of the conscious alteration of breathing, connecting the breath with inhalation and exhalation exercises. Breath work discharges negative energies and recharges with positive energy through this exchange of inhalation and exhalation. It has been used for many, many years as a healing modality to create optimal healing and has been used in traditional spiritual practices such as Tai Chi or Qigong where one uses movement to make conscious use of breath. Breath work is a tool for transformation and healing the body on all levels – emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually. Conscious breathing is one of the most effective techniques for releasing stress, tension, and healing the body from within.
